Same Stamp, Different Story

Look closely at our Astrobear tote. That is not four designs. It is one stamp, pressed four times, in four different inks. The repetition is the art: the same sleeping bear drifts across the fabric in purple, green, yellow and red, and suddenly a single stamp reads like an illustration.

One stamp. Four inks. That is the whole trick.

Doing it yourself is simple. Press your stamp, wipe it clean, re-ink in the next color, and press again beside the first impression. Line the prints up for a marching repeat, overlap them slightly so the outlines weave together, or rotate each press to circle them into a wreath. Open line-art designs work best, because overlapping outlines stay crisp instead of turning muddy. All it takes is one detailed stamp and a few of our Premium Ink Pads.
