This Privacy Policy explains how Every Stamp ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal data when you visit www.everystamp.store, place an order, upload artwork, or otherwise interact with us. We are based in Singapore and process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (PDPA) and, where applicable, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

By using our website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. Personal Data We Collect

a. Information you provide to us

• Identity and contact details: name, email address, phone number, billing address, and shipping address.
• Order details: the products you purchase and the specifications of the stamps you order.
• Communications: messages you send us by email, live chat, or contact forms.

b. Artwork and design files

Logos, images, photographs, text, and design files you upload for stamp production. We treat these as both creative material and personal data.

c. Information collected automatically

When you browse our website, we automatically collect your IP address, browser type and version, device information, and usage patterns through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).

d. Payment information

Payments are processed by secure third-party payment processors. We never see or store your full card number. We receive only confirmation of payment and the last digits of your card for order verification.

2. How We Use Your Personal Data

We use your personal data to:

• produce, proof, and deliver the stamps and products you order;
• process payments and prevent fraud;
• communicate with you about your order, including proofs, shipping updates, and support;
• respond to enquiries and provide customer service;
• comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations;
• improve our website, products, and services; and
• send you marketing communications, only where you have opted in. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (fulfilling your order), legitimate interests (fraud prevention, service improvement), legal obligation (tax and accounting records), and consent (marketing).

3. Your Artwork

Artwork and design files you upload are used solely to design, proof, and engrave your stamp. We never sell, license, publish, or reuse your artwork for any other purpose. You retain all intellectual property rights in the materials you submit. By uploading artwork, you confirm that you have the right to use it and authorize us to reproduce it only for the purpose of fulfilling your order.

4. How We Share Personal Data

We do not sell your personal information. We share personal data only with service providers who need it to help us run our business, including:

• Shopify Inc., which hosts our online store and processes orders on our behalf;
• payment processors, to complete your transactions;
• shipping and logistics carriers, to deliver your orders; and
• customer support and communication tools, to respond to your enquiries.

These providers are permitted to use your data only to perform services for us and are required to protect it. We may also disclose personal data where required by law, court order, or a government authority, or to protect our legal rights.

5. International Transfers

Our service providers may store or process your data outside Singapore, including in the United States, Canada, and the European Union. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a standard of protection comparable to that required under the PDPA and, where the GDPR applies, that appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses are in place.

6. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use our site, and, with your consent where required, support advertising and analytics. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect the functioning of the checkout.

7. Data Retention

• Order and transaction records are retained for as long as required by Singapore tax and accounting laws (generally at least 5 years).
• Artwork and design files are retained so that you can easily reorder your stamp. You may request deletion of your artwork at any time (see Section 8), and we will delete it unless we are legally required to keep it.
• Other personal data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy.

8. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
• delete your personal data, including uploaded artwork;
• withdraw consent to processing based on consent, including marketing;
• data portability, receiving your data in a commonly used format; and
• object to or restrict certain processing, where the GDPR applies.

California residents may also exercise their rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of any sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information).

To exercise any of these rights, email legal@everystamp.store. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore or, where applicable, your local data protection authority.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
